The front door, for everyone
Operations Diagnostic
Diagnosis before treatment. A clear plan before you commit.
$1,500–$2,500 | one-time | 2-3 weeks
Every engagement starts here. The Operations Diagnostic is a fixed-scope examination of how your business actually runs behind the client-facing work, ending in a written diagnosis and a sequenced roadmap of what to build, in what order, and why. You leave with clarity and a plan you own, whether or not we ever work together again.
This isn’t a discipline problem. It’s a systems problem, and systems can be built.
Who It’s For
Any founder-led service business that senses the chaos is structural, not personal. Whether you’re a solo founder holding everything in your head, an established owner whose team still asks you about everything, or a scaling CEO whose systems are straining, the diagnostic meets you where you are and tells you what to fix first.
What We Look At
We map how a single client engagement flows through your business, from sale to delivery to close, and mark every point where work stalls, boomerangs, or routes through you.
- How work moves: handoffs, approvals, and the moments things fall through the cracks
- Where you are the single point of failure the business can’t run without
- The tools you already run, and whether they’re helping or scattering the work
- What’s documented, what lives only in your memory, and what that costs you
How It Works
A clear, focused process designed to give you a real insight—fast.
1. Intake & Access
Timing: Days 1–3
A structured questionnaire, view-only access to your tools, and any existing process notes. I arrive already oriented, so our first conversation is an assessment, not an interview.
2. Diagnostic Conversations
Timing: Week 1
One working session with you (75–90 min), plus short conversations with one or two team members. How you think the business runs and how it actually runs are rarely the same, and the gap is where the real diagnosis lives.
3. Analysis & Synthesis
Timing: Days 8–12
I map your true workflow, mark the bottlenecks, and sort what I find by severity and by sequence: what hurts most, and what must be fixed before anything else can be.
4. Delivery
Timing: Days 13–15
A live walkthrough of the findings, then the written diagnostic handed over for you to keep, reread, and share.
What You Receive
Operating Map
A one-page picture of how a client engagement flows through your business today, with the bottlenecks and single points of failure marked. Most founders have never seen their own operation drawn out.
Diagnosis
Two to three pages, plain language, naming the real problems and their root causes, not the symptoms you already feel. You know it’s chaotic. This is the why.
Prioritized Roadmap
A sequenced list of systems to build, each with the problem it solves, what “done” looks like, and its place in the order. A plan, not a menu.
Quick Wins
Two or three things you can fix yourself in the next two weeks, at no cost. Proof the bigger roadmap will work too.
Recommendation
A short, honest read on what implementing the roadmap involves, and whether that’s something you build or we build together.
Ready to see what’s really going on behind the work?
A paid diagnostic lowers your risk, proves the work before you commit to anything larger, and turns the first conversation into an expert assessment rather than a pitch. By the end, the right next step is obvious because it’s grounded in what we found, not in what I’m selling.
